Founded in the later half of 2020, we felt passionately about simple and functional design that stands the test of time. This is why we created Ocoee House. Each product has been formulated with the utmost care and attention with our values and individual aesthetic coming throughout the entire process from manufacture to finish.
Our candles are lovingly made every week in our workshop in Loch Lomond, Scotland, and are naturally organic & vegan. They are made with 100% natural soy wax, each scented with sustainably sourced fragrance oils. The wick used is a German made ECO wick, which is a flat, core-less cotton wick, braided with thin paper filaments which produces a clean and even burn. All candles are poured in small batches and left to set in our studio, where on completion and quality control, they are packaged into printed recycled cardboard tubes. The accompanying bamboo topper should lock in the scent in between burns and will keep the candle from drying out. Even with infrequent burns, they should last many months.
After many years of crafting and perfecting our own candles, Ocoee House are delighted to expand our services and introduce our Private Label Candle offering to businesses. Our Private Label Candles provide businesses with the opportunity to design and create their own bespoke candles which can be used for a variety of client needs; corporate gifts, welcome packs, gift shop products, event favours and more.
Our Fine Art Print Store, launched 2024, in collaboration with our incredibly talented partner Nicole Lovell, is the natural progression of our studio to offer beautifully constructed Giclée art prints, for those with a keen eye for interior design.

Our focus is to create high quality, simple and value for money items, thoughtfully produced in the most sustainable and attainable way possible. In creating our candle collection we have meticulously drawn on these core principles. From the outset we had a list of criteria which had to be met before we went into production; from the responsibly sourced organic European soy wax we source, to the recycled paper used in our packaging, we’ve also not included any plastics across our range. It is fundamental in our eyes to keep our impact as minimally as possible. I’m really happy we’ve managed to achieve that.
